Welcome to Steady Current. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) explain the rules for using the Steady Current app and related services.

By downloading, accessing, or using Steady Current, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the app.

1. About Steady Current

Steady Current is a wellness and reflection app designed to encourage gratitude, prayer, mindfulness, and personal reflection.

The app may provide features such as:

• Daily gratitude prompts
• Personal reflections and journaling
• Prayer and meditation prompts
• Daily reminders
• Wellness content
• Personalized experiences
• Other reflection and gratitude tools

Steady Current is designed to support everyday wellness and personal growth.

2. Not Medical or Mental Health Treatment

Steady Current is not a medical or mental health treatment service.

The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, counseling, or treatment for any mental health or medical condition.

The content provided through Steady Current should not be used as a replacement for a doctor, therapist, counselor, psychiatrist, or other qualified professional.

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please contact an appropriate emergency service or qualified professional.

3. Using the App

You agree to use Steady Current responsibly and only for lawful purposes.

You may not:

• Use the app for illegal activities
• Attempt to interfere with or damage the app
• Attempt to access another person’s account
• Copy, modify, or redistribute the app without permission
• Reverse engineer or attempt to discover the source code of the app
• Use automated systems to abuse or overload the Services
• Attempt to bypass security features
• Use the app in a way that could harm other users or Steady Current

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your Account

Some features may require you to create an account.

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and keeping your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.

5. Your Personal Content

Steady Current may allow you to create personal prayers, gratitude entries, journal entries, reflections, or other content (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of the content you create.

By using the app, you give Steady Current permission to store, process, and display your User Content as necessary to provide the Services.

For example, we may need to process your entries so that they can be saved to your account and displayed back to you.

We do not claim ownership of your personal prayers, reflections, or gratitude entries.

6. Content Within the App

Steady Current may provide written prompts, prayers, reflections, exercises, images, designs, and other content.

This content is provided for general informational and wellness purposes.

While we make reasonable efforts to provide useful and appropriate content, we do not guarantee that every piece of content will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every individual.

You are responsible for deciding whether content is appropriate for your personal circumstances.

7. Artificial Intelligence

Some features of Steady Current may use artificial intelligence (“AI”).

AI-generated content can sometimes be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate.

You should use your own judgment when interacting with AI-powered features.

AI-generated content is not professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of Steady Current may require a paid subscription or purchase.

Prices, subscription periods, and available features will be displayed before you make a purchase.

Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google may be subject to the terms and policies of the applicable app store.

If you purchase a subscription through Apple or Google, cancellation and refund requests may need to be handled through the applicable app store.

If you offer subscriptions directly through another payment provider, additional payment terms may apply.

9. Free Trials

If Steady Current offers a free trial, the terms of the trial will be shown to you before you begin the trial.

Unless otherwise stated, when a free trial ends, the applicable subscription may automatically renew and you may be charged according to the subscription terms presented when you signed up.

You can cancel before the end of a trial to avoid being charged where applicable.

10. Intellectual Property

Steady Current and its content are owned by or licensed to Beacon Quadrant Health LLC.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• The Steady Current name and logo
• App design
• Graphics
• Written content
• Prompts
• Features
• Software
• Branding
• Website content

You may use the app for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or commercially exploit Steady Current or its content without our written permission.

11. Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, comments, or feedback about Steady Current, you agree that we may use that feedback to improve the Services without owing you compensation.

You still retain ownership of any original personal content you submit as described in these Terms.

12. Third-Party Services

Steady Current may rely on or integrate with third-party services, including services used for:

• Payments
• Analytics
• Cloud storage
• Authentication
• Advertising
• Notifications
• AI features
• Other app functionality

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Steady Current is not responsible for the policies or practices of third-party services.

13. Availability of the App

We work to keep Steady Current available and functioning properly, but we cannot guarantee that the app will always be available or free from errors.

The app may occasionally be unavailable because of:

• Security issues
• Third-party service interruptions
• Other circumstances outside our control

You may stop using Steady Current at any time.

Steady Current is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that:

• The app will always operate without errors
• The content will always be accurate or complete
• The app will meet every user’s individual needs
• The app will produce a particular emotional, mental, spiritual, or wellness outcome

Your use of Steady Current is at your own discretion and risk.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Beacon Quadrant Health LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your
use of, or inability to use, Steady Current.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.

17. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and hold harmless Beacon Quadrant Health LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your misuse of the Services
• Your violation of another person’s rights
• Your User Content
• Your violation of applicable laws

18. Privacy

Your use of Steady Current is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your privacy choices.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.

If we make significant changes, we may provide additional notice through the app, website, or another appropriate method.

Your continued use of Steady Current after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the updated Terms.

20. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Any disputes will be handled in the courts or through the dispute-resolution process required by applicable law.
